Carding two 5 under par rounds at the week end Trav was able to climb the leaderboard to finish tied 6th alongside countryman Mark Leishman in the season opening Saudi International. Best of the Aussies was Lucas Herbert in 3rd spot.
Trav had rounds of 69,69,65 and 65 for a total 12 under par.
“After missing the cut last year in this event I was really focussed on doing better so yeah really pleased with the result.”

Trav will play two International Series events in Oman 9 February and Qatar 16 February before heading to New Zealand.
The result will certainly aid his OWGR given the strength of field.
