Alfred Dunhill Links Championship
/Trav got to tee up in this major European Tour event by virtue of his 6th place on the PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit.
Unfortunately he missed the 54 hole cut carding rounds of even par, +3 and +2. The cut line was -1. The event is unique in golf playing across three courses: Kingsbarns, The Old Course and Carnoustie. The professional field is joined by celebrities to battle the links in both individual and teams events.
“Look I actually played ok. Could have putted a little better. Hardly any players on my side of the draw made the cut. The wind changed every day and it just got harder and harder.”
This is Trav’s first world ranking event since the NSW Open way back in March. One way or another it’s a good hit out ahead of teeing up at the penultimate stage of the Korn Ferry Q school at the end of October. Certainly Trav can expect better weather in California!
