Shoprite LPGA Classic, New Jersey
/Sarah got back on track finishing T44 in the Shoprite Classic. She carded rounds of 71,69 and 69 to finish 4 under the card and tied 44. The event is played over 54 holes with prize money of US$1.5m. This was her second event after returning to the US from a successful European swing.
The result maintains her place in the CME Race to Globe.
“I played really solid and very happy with my last two rounds after having a triple on the first day. Was just great to come back from that and make the cut.”
After recording stellar results in France an Ireland Sarah missed cuts at the Scotland Open and the Women’s Open. Fell foul of too many pot bunkers at Carnoustie! Overall though a successful trip to Europe.
Sarah is booked to fly home to Australia on 10 December subject to her flight not being cancelled. Her aim is to play all the WPGA tour events.
