Trav enters the final quarter of 2023 with two successive top three finishes in Taiwan. He finished 2nd at the Yeangder TPC, an event he won last year, then followed up tied 3rd at the Mercuries Taiwan Masters.

The results places him in 2nd place on the Asian Tour’s Order of Merit. Read more on the Asian Tour’s website including lengthy quotes from Trav.

The Tour has got lots on offer ahead of the season ending Finals in Saudi in December. Trav will be pacing himself a bit opting to skip a couple of possible events. So the schedule currently has him playing all the 4 International Series Events with purses between US$1.5m and US$2.0m. First up is Singapore this week. Then through November the IS Events in China, Hong Kong and Indonesia.

So that is his very busy pathway to the Australian Open!

He was elated to receive an invitation to play the Australian Open at The Lakes and The Australian staring on 30 November.

I can’t wait to get back to Sydney and compete in front of home crowds!! It’s the first year where I lost my Australian tour card due to the fact that the Asian Tour had so many conflicting events and I was not able to play any events last season. This invitation really means a lot.”
