LIV Invitational London

Acknowledging the fans with team mate Richard Bland

Despite a final day +6 Trav was able to inch up the leaderboard in the third round at the Centurion and finish tied 33 alongside some notable top 50 golfers.

β€œIt was a really tough wind, mate, I really felt the pressure coming down the final holes given the team was hanging on to second spot. Standing over those putts I was pretty nervous.”

The birdie putt on the last by Peter Uihlein secured outright second and a big lift in team prize money.

Trav contributed on two out of three rounds to the teams final score of -6. That is best two scores day one and two and best three scores on day three.

From here Trav will skip the Korean Open on 23 June and head to the US for the next two LIV Invitationals. The Asian Tour takes a break until the International Series Singapore on August 11th. Expect to see a stronger field there with the inclusion of former PGA Tour players.

Certainly an incredible two weeks in the UK for Trav and one which sets him on a new and exciting pathway
