Pause the Scorecard

COVID finally caught up with Trav at the first of the new International Series in Thailand. Feeling like he had a stomach bug he started the tournament but withdrew during the second round and subsequently tested positive. Under the Thai protocols he has to quarantine for 7 days and test negative before being allowed to leave.

“I am okay and hoping to be out of the hotel by maybe Friday. Not sure if I will travel back home to play the NSW Open. Depends on my recovery and after seeing images of Concord underwater how the course recovers as well!”

“Feel my year has started sort of okay. Disappointed by the cuts at Vic Open and Saudi, just need to play a bit better!”

Since the Asian Tour restarted in November he has made 5 cuts one MC and one WD.

The next event in Asia is the DGC Open at Delhi Golf Club on the 24th March. After that two events in Thailand which are in the same format as the Webex Players Series in Australia. The events will be held in conjunction with the Ladies European Tour. The players will compete for a purse of US$750k in each event. 60 men from the asian Tour 60 women from the LET and 24 invites.
