Delhi Golf Club Open
/In the 4th event of the Asian Tour season Trav salvaged a tie for 10th place. It was his 3rd top ten on the Asian Tour.
He had scores of 67, 73, 79 and 68 for a 1 under par finish. As ever a 12 shot swing between the best and worst round of a tournament usually tell a story. Often its weather related but this time Trav was struck down with COVID like symptoms in a 40 degree heat.
He teed up in the event having missed the NSW Open opting to stay in Asia recovering from COVID.
“I didn’t know what was wrong with me, that was such a hard slog in the third round. Got checked up by the tour medic who kept a watchful eye on me during the final round. Mate it was misery.”
The Asian Tour takes a week off before the two mixed events in Thailand. All told the Tour has already announced dates for a further 7 events in 2022. Things are gradually normalising although the tour protocols are typically “covid restrictive”.
