Endless practice, making dough and walking the dog

During the lockdown this is how four professionals are managing. Becky and Grierso are waiting for the Pro-Am season to start but are fearful that the sponsors have been hit badly by the downturn. Kempy hopes to get restarted in the US in July, maybe without spectators. Trav is hopeful that the Asian Tour might put on three consecutive events in Korea in August.

For Darren its same, same every day. Walk the dog, skateboarding. Hard to get motivated possibly I am getting a bit lazy haha! Missing the gym.

Grierso has been running heaps walking the dog Bailey and getting a few precious hours of work at the Bonnie Doon Pro Shop. Certainly my run times are improving but maybe not my golf!

LPGA unfortunately just delayed the restart of tournaments by another month. Best case is now first event in mid July. Fingers crossed. Would love to come home for a few weeks before the restart if it’s possible but not sure with all these quarantine and border restrictions. I know I can get home but don’t think I would be able to get back into the US. Anyway will monitor the situation closely. 

Practice facilities hopefully opening up at my club in the next couple weeks which will be nice. Never been so excited to practice in my life! Ha. 

Maroubra to Coogee run.

Travis is home alone in Maroubra. Mate I have done so much running. Those hills around Maroubra are killing me! I just seem to be doing endless practice seen Johnny heaps (John Serhan coach).

Just can’t wait for the gyms to re-open!
