Solid finish at the Bandar Malaysian Open

Trav finished in a tie for 47th place in the rain affected Bandar Malaysian Open held at Kota Permai Golf and Country Club. The tournament was reduced to 54 holes. Trav had rounds of 70,73 and 69 for a total of 4 under par.

Trav completed the final nine holes of his second round on Saturday. He was one shot shy of the 1 under par cutline playing the par three 17th hole.

“Yeah managed to birdie the hole by bombing a 30 footer! Satisfying to make the cut on the number, scrape into contention and move up the field a bit on Sunday.”

The scheduled Royal Cup next week in Thailand has been postponed so in theory the next event on the Asian Tour is the Hero Indian Open a co-sanctioned Euro tour event. The tournament is going ahead at present but the Indian authorities have prohibited travel to india from certain countries notably China, Korea and Italy. Many players will be affected.
