Darren got to the week end at 4 under par and tied for 21st place in the $1.4m New Zealand Open staged at the magnificent Hillbrook Golf Resort near Queenstown.

“Having pulled out of Q school in Asia because of the risks involved in travelling, I’m really happy to consolidate my position on the OOM on the Australian Tour. Going for another top ten maybe!”

The story was a bit tougher for James who registered another MC. He’s not far off just needs improve his scoring by a tad over 1 shot a round.

“Yeah obviously not what I was looking for but just gotta keep learning at this point and sucking up the experience.”
