Sarah started 2019 on a high on the Australian Tour with her finishes at the Vic Open and the Australian Open vaulting her to the top of the OOM.

On then to the European Tour where she scored two top tens in Morrocco and Dubai before heading to the LPGA tour.

“After the Australian results I did lift my sights a bit in terms of setting goals for 2019. My expectations as to what I could achieve changed.”

Things didn’t turn out that way as she cruised through 6 missed cuts during spring on the LPGA tour.

“Yeah I got into a bit of a panic I suppose after missing the cut at the KPMG PGA Championship by 12 shots!”

“Time to come home and re-group with my coach, Johnny Serhan.  Being away for such a long stretch well, I guess bad habits just crept into my swing!”

On her first event after her break in Oz she made the cut at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational.  She finished 39thwith a four round total of 1 under par.

“Bit of a relief for me!  I’m feeling more positive about the big tournaments ahead in Europe this summer.”

Sarah tees up in the US$4.1m Evian Championship on 25 July.Sarah will play alongside number of Aussies including Minjee Lee, Katherine Kirk, Lydia Ko and Hannah Green
