ISPS Handa World Invitational

Kempy is tied 8th after 3 rounds at the World Invitational in Northern Ireland. She is 8 under par 5 shots off the lead.

“Its amazing how this has come about, originally I was going to take two weeks off after the Evian before the Scottish events. But I needed to meet the minimum 5 events on the LET. I am pretty tired but being inside the top 10 will get me focussed for the final round.”

The tournament is run together with the Men’s European Tour event for equal prize money of US$1.5m.

Yep its a real pity that the Vic Open hasn’t been copied in Australia, but on the other side of the world they can see the merits!
