Carding rounds of 68,70,67 and 70 for a 13 under par total Trav finished tied 12th at the Pelican Waters Golf Club.

He was 5 shots behind the eventual winner Andrew Evans.

“Yeah was hoping for for a better score on the final day but that will have to wait til Concord I guess!”

Trav tees up at the Golf Challenge NSW Open on 25th March.

Next year it is likely that the Queensland Open will adopt the same format as the Vic Open by hosting the Women’s Open concurrently. That format might improve the prize purse all round. The prize pool for the men last week was just $125k.
