The year kicked off a week early in 2020 with the postponed Hong Kong Open being squeezed in ahead of the Singapore Open. The tournament is no longer a co-sanctioned European Tour event but the purse is a very useful US$1m.

Trav got off to a fabulous start with a first round 4 under backed up with a second round 2 under par. He is Tied 3rd going into the week end with fellow Aussie Wade Ormsby leading at 9 under par.
