Day 3 Shinhan Donghae Open

Trav started the week end at the Bear’s Best Cheongna Golf Club tied 29th at 1 under par. The cut line was +1.

Just Loving the Korean Fare

The Shinhan Donghae Open is tri sanctioned across the Korea, Japan and Asian Golf Tours. The purse is about $1.5m Aussie. It’s a strong field given the allocation of starts across the regional tours.

Saturday saw Trav start on the 10th hole, a long par 4 and the hardest on the course. A birdie start on that hole followed by two more set the day up.

“The tenth is a real beast! Played great, it’s such a solid golf course and really tough to hit fairways.”

He finished the day at 2 under and 3 under for the tournament. He is tied 22nd at the time of this post.
