Travis made the weekend at 4 under par and T9 in the final event of 2019 played at RACV Royal Pines. The event is co-sanctioned by the European Tour and carries a purse of $1.5m.

“Obviously happy to be well placed going into the weekend although got a bit frustrated at not getting a couple more birdies.. Sometimes its just hard to read the grain on the greens and get the pace right”

Highlights in the second round included a big eagle bounce back on the 12th after bogeying the 11th as well as a par on the par 5 15th after finding tree trouble off the tee.

The field is tightly packed with 15 players within 5 shots of the leader Yuan Yechun on 9 under.
