Two years ago Travis made his professional debut at the NSW Open at Twin Creeks finishing in a tie for 11th at 12 under par. Last year he missed the cut.  Returning from the Asian Tour after a string of top twenties Travis secured a place at the week end with rounds of 65 and 69 to be 10 under par to be in 4th spot.

He was just 4 shots off the leader Andrew Dodt who shot a course record 61 - 11 under par.

In the third round Trav scored 6 under to move to 16 under par for the tournament. He is in third place just 1 shot off the joint leaders Min Woo Lee and, US College nurtured, Justin Warren.

Trav notched up 7 birdies and just one bogey, which arrived on the dog leg par five 15th where his tee shot just narrowly ran out of fairway as he aimed to get there in two.

All three tee off on Sunday at 10.55 in what will be a fantastic contest.

“Yeah a good three rounds and obviously happy to be in the hunt tomorrow.  I have been playing more consistently in Asia last few tournaments so I was keen to play at Twin Creeks and see how my game was going on home turf.”

“Course is in great shape, greens especially they are running really true, they have certainly put the work in.”
